Life Science 101: Ecology
October 15, 2016 - Less than a minute readIn this course, young explorers will investigate how living organisms interact with each other and non-living parts of their environments. Students will gain a basic understanding of ecology through lessons that engage them in discovering the similarities and differences in ecosystems, biomes, habitats, communities, food chains, Earth cycles, environmental threats, extinction and the value of recycling. We are excited to apply these concepts with our students as we explore the fascinating worlds of coral reefs, rain forests, oceans, deserts and mountains.
Writing requirement: Class worksheet notes. Reading requirement: Class worksheets and basic lab procedures.
Homework will be given during most class meetings.
